We’ve been selling Indoor Campfire units since the year 2000. And having done it this long, we’ve heard just about everything (once in a while something surprises us)!

Here you’ll find a fairly exhaustive list of all of the most common questions that we have been asked over the years.  We hope this helps you as you look to solve the indoor fire needs you have.

Product Questions

How loud is the fan?

Our base unit uses a computer fan to move the fabric and keep it up upright.  It is noticeable when plugging it in by yourself in a quiet room, but once you have it going prior to spectators arriving, they never notice the sound and once you have ambient noise from 2-10 people in a room the sound  “disappears” with the realism of the effect.  This can easily be masked by putting a small bluetooth speaker hiding in the wood playing our Crackling Sound Effect tracks.  (link to store)

The bigger the unit, the greater the sound of air moving as it has to support the flame fabric.  So the 6 foot flame on is very noticeable and will need to be away from the audience a bit and masked by sound effects or props.

How tall is the flame?

Basic Campfire is 16” flame height, We also carry others that are 42”, 75”, and 15-20 feet tall, check out our store.

How do I power it in Europe or Australia?

This unit will automatically adjust to run on 110 or 230V, you just need a European adapter like this:

Can you power this by battery?

Not easily, but yes, you can purchase a 12v to 110v Power inverter from your local Auto Supply store, Radio Shack or Walmart (recommend a 400W version). Some folks hook it up to a Uninterrupted Power Supply (that power computers during power outages)

Is it Hot?

Absolutely no heat, just a slight cool breeze coming off the fan.  It is kid safe, and anyone can touch all parts without feeling any heat. 

Can I get a discount?

We have a discount package for retailers who want to sell these units, or large productions needing 10 units or more.  Select 10 units in your shopping cart to see the wholesale pricing you will receive.

Do you wholesale?

Yes we provide packs of 10 for retailers that they can purchase at wholesale pricing.  We also ship Pallets of product to retailers. Please call 888-638-1509 to for orders/quotes for orders over 50 units.

Does the campfire come with legs?

Yes, the kit also includes a set of 10” tall legs as well as a set of chains that are optional attachments (requiring a philips head screwdriver).  We recommend ensuring a 1” gap below the fan unit for the air to flow, but do this by creatively stacking firewood in a triangle pattern. In this way the legs are not needed as they put the unit up in the air and make it difficult to disguise with firewood.  The chains can be used to suspend the unit and make it look like a hanging bowl of fire.

Usage Questions

Can it get wet or be used outside?

No.  These units are designed strictly for indoor use only in dry conditions.

Shipping Questions

How much is shipping?

Just step through the checkout process where our shipping calculator for UPS will tell you the cost from our Ohio warehouse to your location. We don’t add handling fees or mark up the shipping fees, so pick the speed that meets your needs.

How soon can you get it to me?

Our goal is to ship all orders received by 1PM the same business day.  Overnight options are available at checkout.

What shipping carriers do you use?

We ship via UPS or USPS from our Sandusky, OH warehouse.

Can you ship out of the country?

Yes, but there is no way we can guarantee delivery time.  We can ship USPS to most countries and UPS to select countries

Can you ship to Canada?

YES, this will go standard USPS and unfortunately we can not guarantee delivery speeds, so please allow 7-10 business days for delivery.

Do you charge sales tax?

Currently, only customers in OH will be charged State Sales Tax (7.0%)

Do I have to have a PayPal account to buy from you?

Credit Cards via Paypal Processing for security – no you do not need to have a PayPal account

Can I send a PO and receive an invoice?

No, unless a credit card is not available (then only qualifying Schools, Libraries, & some large wholesale clients can call to request a PO)

How do I obtain a receipt for my order?

When you hit “Place Order” on your order you will receive a receipt sent to your email address. For an additional receipt/information please email your request to:

How do I check the status of my order?

We will send you a tracking # once the unit has shipped, you can also check the status by logging into your account or call 888-638-1509.

Can I ship to a PO BOX? APO/FPO address?

YES for our USPS orders.

What is your return policy?

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Our No Hassle Return Policy ensures that you can return any product. For a refund within 30 days of receipt of your order for any reason (we do ask that the product is returned in its original condition and the customer is responsible for return postage), contact our Customer Service Department at (877)-699-6188.
